243 Birthday, the Marine Corps was founded on November 10, 1775. The birthplace of the Marine Corps was a bar called Tun Tavern in Pennsylvania. In order to enlist you needed to provide your own rifle. The Marines were forged with an attitude on purpose. Real Marines know that every branch of the military plays an important and vital role in protecting our country and advancing it’s interests. We don’t look down on other services. We just love being Marines.
