Week 8
This week we will be ending this cycle with some benchmark workouts and some PR lifts! Make sure to stay hydrated and prioritize nutrition for the best results during this heat!!
Warm-up
400m Run
3 rounds:
10 Lu Raises
10 Pushups
10 Jumping Lunges
5 Strict Pullups/ rope pullups
*Complete warmup on a 10 minute clock.
Bench Press
Take 15 minutes to build up to 1 rep max.
Give yourself at least 5-7 sets to build up to your heaviest weight. It is suggested to use 5-4-3-2-1-1-1. Rest as needed between sets.
“Tug of War” (AMRAP – Rounds and Reps)
12 Minute AMRAP:
3 Rope Climbs
12 Back or Front Rack Reverse Lunges (6R/6L) 95/65
15 Pushups
Use the version of lunges that you have been doing for the strength progression.
